Our Mission.

To inspire you to be the best runner you can be, whatever success looks like to you

South Cheshire Harriers is a Crewe based running club, affiliated with England Athletics.

We aim to support runners of all abilities through organised, structured run sessions in a friendly, inclusive environment. There are weekly groups to suit all paces, and coached training sessions to help you be the best runner you can be, whatever level you are at.

Join Team SCH, and you’ll be joining a supportive community who motivate and inspire each other to achieve amazing things. Not only will you improve your running, but you’ll make some life-long friends along the way.

History

South Cheshire Harriers (SCH) was formed at the beginning of 1986 by a group of runners who ran with Crewe and Nantwich AC, originally to concentrate on road running.

Our initial home was at the P-Way Club on Gresty Road until that closed (early 1993) when the club then moved to the South Cheshire College in Danebank Avenue.

In August 1997, we moved to our third home at the Oakley Centre in the centre of Crewe.

August 2007 saw us move to our current base, Crewe Vagrants (following an EGM where members voted in favour of the Vagrants over Haslington Cricket Club).

Club colours: Sky Blue top with South Cheshire Harriers written in red.

We race and compete throughout the year, both individually and in team competitions such as the Cheshire Road Running Grand Prix, North Staffs Road Running Association, North Staffs Cross.
